The Crous de Strasbourg, in partnership with Studierendenwerke Freiburg and Studierendenwerke Karlsruhe, is organizing an intercultural theater week from April 21 to 28, 2024, in Strasbourg.

A theme : “Passion – Patience – Power”

For a whole week, you can take part in free theater workshops led by Thealingua on the theme of “Passion – Patience – Power“.

This week of intercultural exchange will not only enable you to learn languages through the art of theater, but also to discover the cities, culture and students of your neighboring country.

On the program: theatrical creation workshops every day, guided tours of the cities of Karlsruhe and Freiburg, etc.

A public performance on stage at the end of the week

To bring the meeting to a close, a public performance is scheduled:

•  Saturday, April the 27th à Strasbourg at La Pokop.

It’s a unique opportunity to present your work and experience the thrill of the stage! The group will be housed in a university residence in Strasbourg (including students from Strasbourg), workshops will take place at La Pokop, and meals will be shared. Come and enjoy an immersive, intercultural and creative experience you won’t soon forget!

Entry requirements:

• Enrolled in a higher education institution in the Upper Rhine region in 2023/2024
•  Participation possible for students between 18 and 30 years of age
• No language level required
• No theatrical skills required – beginners accepted
• A fee of 25 euros for the week will be charged to successful candidates (including transport, accommodation, visits and meals).
• All practical information (program, payment of participation,…) will be communicated to you only when we have confirmed your application.
